Sukkot Weekend II

The Sukkot weekend is growing its ‘to do list’. I purchased 2 Mosin Nagent rifles and looking forward to familiarizing myself with this ‘oldie but goodie’. I’ve never shot one, always wanted to, a found a set at a great price. Hopefully I’ll be able to zero them in at 300 yards quickly.

Other weapons will be available for all interested to ‘try on’. I’m trying to find the time to buy a box or two of clay pigeons for the shotgunner in all of us.

In addition to a NRA Certified Instructor, there will be hands-on experience for those wishing to learn a bit more about HAM radio and other systems. For those who get into the nitty gritty of things, a sheep or goat will be slaughtered and butchered to provide food during the weekend.

Please visit (or re-visit) the original posting for Sukkot in the archives. Again, there is no cost, kids are welcome, if you are kosher you will need to bring kosher food.

And for the kid in all of us, there are 3 puppies available to play with.
